Our Children's Activity Parties are all about having fun and they're great for birthdays! We are currently able to offer these at two locations: at the Forestry Commission's Wendover Woods (where we have an exclusive permit to do this), and at our secure private estate site near Princes Risborough an. A fun packed session that will keep your group of youngsters entertained, whilst teaching them some basic outdoor skills in a relaxed and engaging way. I am also willing to offer Activity Parties at your home: providing the site is safe and suitable. Please contact me to discuss this option.

Please Note: once you have made a provisional booking I will hold it for you for 7 days only: to allow you to confirm it with a booking form and payment cheque, (or deposit if we have agreed that). If I have not heard from you after 7 days I will re-open that activity slot again to everyone.

Cost
£140 (inclusive) for a 1 hour activity (this would have time to focus on 1-2 topics e.g. shelter building (main activity) and a fire lighting demo)
£210 (inclusive) for a 1.5 hour activity (this might include shelter building (main activity), a fire lighting demo and a look at Nature's 1st Aid Kit or a scavanger hunt.)

Sessions generally last for 1 to 1.5 hours. We are happy to put together a longer activity to suit your requirements. Please contact me .

Group size: up to 20 children;
(with 1 adult for every 5 children.)

Groups over 20 in number can be booked by arrangement. Please Note: there is an additional charge of £7 per extra child, per hour of activty for groups over 20 in number. (To a maximum group size if 30 only.)

Sessions Times are available as follows: -

• Weekdays - After School: 4pm till before last light (BST only)
  
• Saturdays:10am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm (BST only);
  10am, 12pm and 2.00pm (Winter only)
  
• Sundays: Afternoons 1.00pm and 3.00pm (BST only),
  12pm and 2.00pm (Winter only)
• Parties at other times, or after school, by arrangement.

Party Food options: -

The Forestry Commission barbeques have their own private spaces and picnic tables and cost £30 per session: all you need is some charcoal and your choice of food & drinks! I am happy to help you get your BBQ lit, if required ;-) Contact the FC office on 01296 625825 to book.

Bring a picnic! If wet you can quite often gain shelter at no charge in the Go Ape covered area (next to their cabin). A really cost effective option.

To book party food at the Cafe in The Woods: you can now contact them directly via email.

For parties booked at our Great Hampden site: you are welcome to bring your own picnic and sit around the fire; or we can supply charcoal & a large grill if you wish to cook sausages, burgers, steaks etc. We are happy to provide tea & coffee for you (without charge). There is an additional charge of £50 for party groups wishing to use the site after your activity. Should it rain we have a large barn (bit draughty). We have toilets and clean drinking water on-site, with plenty of secure parking.
