Rainbow Ramble & Land Art

We start with a brief safety talk, before we take a ramble through part of the woods looking for natural materials to make pictures or sculptures with. Each child is given a plastic bag to collect things in, and encouraged to pick up different leaves, cones, seeds, sticks, stones, feathers: anything natural. I emphasise that we don't pick wild flowers or plants though. There is a great emphasis on taking care to respect the woodland environment. The aim is to let the children produce a natural work of art with what they have collected. They can do this individually, or in small groups, as they feel comfortable. Their works of art are left for all to enjoy.

This activity suits ages 4 - 8 years.

Time span: 1 hour, depending on what you wish. This activity can be combined with another if you wish something longer.

Group size: 5 (min) to 20 children. (With 1 adult for every 5 children.)

Cost
£100 for a 1 hour activity (this would have time to focus on 1-2 topics e.g. shelter building and a fire lighting demonstration.)
£150 for a 1.5 hour activity

Groups over 20 in number can be booked by arrangement (to a maximum of 25). Please Note: there is an additional charge of £5 per extra child, per hour of activity.

Sessions generally last for 1 to 1.5 hours, but I am always happy to put together a longer activity to suit your requirements: this is your day, I will work with you to make it really special. Please contact me if you have a query.

Sessions Times are available as follows: -

• Weekdays - After School: 4pm till before last light (BST only)
  
• Saturdays:10am, 1.00pm and 3.30pm (BST only);
  10am, 12pm and 2.30pm (Winter only)
  
• Sundays: Afternoons 1.00pm and 3.30pm (BST only),
  12pm and 2.30pm (Winter only)
